SmartPhone manufacturer HTC Corporation launched Android phone HTC Desire S around Rs. 25K in India. HTC Mobiles recently launched HTC Desire Z, HTC Incredible S and now HTC Desire S. This phone was announced as an Android 2.3 Gingerbread phone. HTC Desire S is the 2011 product refresh of the original HTC Desire, supports the same aluminium unibody style, same 3.7-inch SuperLCD screen with Gorilla Glass and autofocus 5 MP camera, capable of 720p HD video recording.
"The new phone offers an exhilarating mix of style, innovation and features that extends people's mobile experience in ways that feel personal and completely original. The HTC Desire was extremely well received in India and met with immense success and we are positive that the new HTC Desire S will prove to be a worthy successor," HTC India Head Ajay Sharma said in a statement.
