Nokia, the world's largest cellphone maker, started the pre-booking of its much-awaited E series smartphone 'Nokia E7' for the Indian consumers.
Speaking on the occasion, Nokia India Vice President and Managing Director D Shivakumar said the E7 is the new age communicator that is set to redefine the smartphone expectations by offering superior 'mobile office' solutions.
"Nokia E7 offers all that a business smartphone consumer is seeking from his device --it has the convenience of using a touch or type on a large four inch screen with a four line QWERTY keypad. It offers seamless connectivity, ease of use, excellent multimedia performance and a host of productivity applications.
We are confident that with the Nokia E7 we will expand the smartphone market in India," Mr Shivakumar said.
He said the Consumer can get 'E7' by making a pre-order booking by logging on to the company website and filling an online form along with the preference of the nearest 'Nokia Priority' store.
Consumers can then secure their 'E7' units by depositing a booking amount of Rs 3,000 at the concerned store.
With 16 gigabytes of on-board flash memory, the device supports business applications from leading enterprise technology partners, including Microsoft and IBM.
Available in dark grey and silver white, the anodized metal body with a host of business-oriented features, 'Nokia E7' truly embodies the spirit of success.
